Looking at the world in which we live, I was often haunted by feelings of powerlessness and disillusionment. How could it be, that the force of destruction seems to cast a shadow over the beauty and universal creativity of our interconnected race.
How can a single human turn things around so that we live the dignified life we so much long for and also deserve?
Feeling small and insignificant really cannot change anything for the better, I understand that we need to find the change within ourselves. Find the strength, the positivity and the clarity to go through any challenging situation, moment by moment. And moment by moment making the right decisions for the world we really want to live in!
Composing and playing powerful music to evoke positive feelings of hope and energy seems to be something I can contribute to this world and my fellow beings. I wish it to be transforming and healing. I pray for all of us to live a happy, healthy, meaningful and unifying life, with responsible intentions for our and future generations.
I want to thank the musicians who have been by my side throughout all these years and you, beautiful listeners, who open your hearts to the music, supporting us to be able to continue.
May our music serve you on your essential journey.

Beim Donaufestival 2017 in „mutwillig, Shayne“, ein Theateressay und postkritisches Konzert von Stephan Geene, sang Ricky Shayne den Song The Long And Winding Road von Paul McCartney live in einer so angenehm reduzierten schlichten Art, dass ich wünschte ich hätte mich über das Verbot hinweggesetzt und diese Schönheit aufgenommen. In Ermangelung dieser Aufnahme fand ich jedoch eine der ersten Studiosessions der Beatles, zum Glück noch ohne die völlig unnötigen acht Violinen, vier Bratschen, vier Celli, drei Trompeten, drei Posaunen, zwei Gitarren, und dem Chor aus 14 Frauen mit denen Phil Spector den Song später für Let It Be überarbeitet hatte.
